you may recognize these ears. they belong to eli.

as you may or may not know, there are basically 2 types of earlobes that people can have. earlobes that are attached and earlobes that are unattached. genetically, unattached earlobes are dominant to attached earlobes.

eli here, however, has one of each. the picture on your left is his right ear (with an attached earlobe) and the one on the right is his left ear (with an unattached ear lobe.)

this is genetically improbable and a possible explanation of how it happens can be found here.
